The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations has renewed accreditation for CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, for three years. The medical center earned the highest score in the history of the 32-year-old hospital — 97 out of a possible 100 — according to a press release from CentraState.
Three inspectors examined all aspects of inpatient and outpatient services during a four-day inspection at the hospital in April.
The panel issued a report in May that the 261-bed, acute-care hospital has demonstrated full compliance with national standards for patient safety and quality of care, according to the press release.
The joint commission conducts inspections of each hospital every three years.
