The Monroe Township Senior Center, 1 Municipal Plaza, will offer a variety of upcoming events.
A meditation session is set for 10:30 a.m. on July 1 at the center. Judy Kalman, C.S.W., will demonstrate various relaxation and breathing techniques. Registration deadline is June 24.
Dr. Leon Castner, a professional appraiser, will discuss some of the pitfalls waiting for the "weekend antiquer." Castner will demonstrate the techniques professionals use to tell the difference between the real thing and an imposter. Appraisals will not be done during the event. A $1 fee is due by the June 24 registration deadline.
Camera enthusiasts are invited to meetings of the Camera Clique set for 2 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month at the center.
The senior center will be closed on July 4.
A 10-week intermediate Spanish course will be offered beginning at 1 p.m. on July 7. The sessions are free of charge. Registration is required by June 30.
The Monroe Township Computer Users Club meets at 3 p.m. on the first Monday of every month at the center. The club is open to all Monroe residents.
Richard Roden Jr. will sing about American history at 2:30 p.m. on July 7 at the center. The Horizons Speakers Bureau program is offered by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Through a blend of music and narrative, the panorama of the nation’s history will be played out in a live guitar performance. Registration deadline is June 30.

Hospital junior auxiliary
meeting set for June 26
The Old Bridge Junior Auxiliary of Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division, will hold an open meeting from 6-7:30 p.m. on June 26 in Auxiliary Hall at the hospital’s Old Bridge division, off Ferry Road, between routes 9 and 18.
Students ages 13-18 are invited to attend and learn about the auxiliary and its programs. Participants will make springtime gifts for patients. Annual dues ($5) will be collected.

College music group
will perform at church
Psallomen, a student musical ensemble from Lancaster Bible College, Lancaster, Pa., will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. on June 26 at Sayre Woods Bible Church, Route 9, Old Bridge.
The name Psallomen comes from a Greek word meaning "Let us continually sing praise to God." The group’s repertoire includes a mixture of contemporary and traditional music featuring selections by the entire ensemble as well as vocal and instrumental solos.
