Dr. Tami M. Cottrell of Brick has joined her father Dr. Richard Alexander at Alexander Chiropractic Offices, Hazlet. Cottrell completed her undergraduate degree at Georgian Court College, Lakewood, and is also a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic.
She is a third-generation chiropractor, following her father and grandfather in the profession.
She and her husband, Dr. Mark Cottrell, have three children.
Frank J. Dupignac Jr. will be honored as the Humanitarian of 2003 at the Ocean County College Foundation’s Summer Gala to be held Aug. 23.
Dupignac is a member and shareholder of Hiering, Dupignac, Stanzione & Dunn, P.C., a general practice firm with offices in Toms River.
Among his many affiliations and awards, Dupignac is a member of the American, New Jersey State and Ocean County Bar associations, and was the recipient of the Ocean County Bar Association’s Law Day Achievement Award in 1993. Currently, he serves on the Ocean County Bar Association’s Professionalism, Scholarship, Bylaws Revision, and Membership committees.
In the community, Dupignac is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Literacy Volunteers of America Ocean County Inc., chair of Center State Health Services, Inc. and a member of the OCC Foundation.
The Aug. 23 event will be catered by Jeffrey’s, and held on OCC’s main campus in Toms River. Proceeds from the Summer Gala will support the OCC Foundation General Scholarship Fund.
The Ocean First Foundation presented a check for $56,000 to the Ocean County College (OCC) Foundation, during the "OCC Foundation’s Summer Gala Kick-off Reception," held June 11. The monies from the donation to the Summer Gala will go toward general scholarships.
"Our partnership with the Ocean First Foundation has been supportive and beneficial," said Sandy Broughton, executive director of OCC Foundation. "We thank Ocean First Foundation for its generous donation, which affords the Ocean County College Foundation the opportunity to help students obtain a college degree."
The OCC Foundation is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and development of the college through scholarships, endowments, and capital and special projects. The foundation supports the efforts of OCC to make higher education accessible to all Ocean County residents. Since its inception in 1965, the foundation has awarded nearly $5 million, working in alliance with community friends and leaders in business, industry, and government.
