A bipartisan effort could reverse new rules on media ownership.

   William Safire in today’s New York Times gives credit to conservative groups — and some liberal groups, though he leaves the biggest and baddest like FAIR, Move On and Free Press — for their efforts to overturn the recent Federal Communications Commission ruling on media consolidation. The result: a bipartisan bill that would bring back limits on media ownership.
