Mary Onichowsky, 83, died Wednesday, June 18, in Monroe.
Ms. Onichowsky was born in New York City and moved to Iselin where she lived for 30 years. She moved to Spotswood in 1980. She worked as a meat wrapper for Acme Supermarkets in Edison for over 20 years, retiring in 1971 and was a member of the meat packer’s union.
Her husband Alex died in 1986. She is survived by a son and his wife, Gregory and Judy of Monroe; two granddaughters, Patricia and Kimberly Onichowsky; and two great grandchildren, Matthew and Julia Skwirut.
Interment took place at Mt. Oliver Cemetery in Queens, N.Y., under the direction of M. David DeMarco Funeral Home in Monroe.
