Anne Marie Iantosca, 78, died Sunday, June 29, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in New York City, she lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., for over 65 years, moving to Clearbrook in 1996. She had been an elevator operator in Gimbel’s Department Store in New York for 10 years. At Clearbrook, she was a member of the Italian American, Bocce and Catholic clubs and was a member of Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church in Monroe.
Her sister, Teresa, and brothers, Christopher and John, are deceased. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, August; two sons, Joseph and his wife, Joanne, of Manalapan, and the Rev. August J., Chaplin of Creedmoor Psychiatric Hospital, Queens, N.Y.; a sister, Phyllis Piette of Pharr, Texas; and four grandchildren, Joseph, Maria Grace, Gianna and Daniella.
Funeral services were Wednesday, July 2, from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe. A funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church. Interment followed in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
