Balance budget — or leave office

To the editor

   Mayor Gwiazdowski and Township Committee members: Your town meeting (on July 8) was a farce.
   Each of you should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing our property taxes to increase 25-35 percent just because you can not do your jobs.
   Balance the budget with the money you have.
   Stop trying to blame it on the State of New Jersey, the Board of Education, the economy and everything else but yourselves.
   Stand up like adults, take responsibility, do your job — or resign from office and get out of Hillsborough.
