Josephine Benvenuto, 70, of Monroe, died Friday, July 11.
Before retiring 12 years ago, she was a computer room manager for Lipton Tea in Englewood Cliffs for 23 years. She was a member of the Harrington Park Senior Center, the Senior Center in Monroe and volunteered for Meals-on-Wheels for six years.
She is survived by her husband, Sabino; her sisters, Mary Stuart of Bergenfield, Rena Ferri of Tenafly, Betty Timpone of Teaneck, Gloria Ippolito of Norwood, Rosie Bartell of South Hackensack and Dolores Codner of Tenafly; sisters-in-law, Margaret Martini of Harrington Park and Emma Benvenuto of Norwood; brother-in-law, Louis Benvenuto of Norwood; and many nieces and nephews.
Entombment took place at Garden of Memories in Washington Township under the direction of Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home in Northvale. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer St., Hackensack, N.J. 07601.
