Some good reporting on the latest Bush scandal

By: Hank Kalet
Back from the southland – Outer Banks of North Carolina – and ready to get back to a regular regimen. Stayed away from the news, for the most part, though I did get to see the Washington Post during the week.
Some good reporting in both The Post and The New York Times on uranium scandal – should be considered a scandal, though it oddly seems to have little traction.
There are these stories from the Post:
   • Uranium Claim Was Known for Months to Be Weak
   • Warning in Iraq Report Unread
   • U.S. Had Uranium Papers Earlier
   And in the Times:
•In Sketchy Data, White House Sought Clues to Gauge Threat
   • White House Tells How Bush Came to Talk of Iraq Uranium
   • New Details Emerge on Uranium Claim and Bush’s Speech
