The Shore Oaks Golf Club, Farmingdale, will be the setting for the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey’s 17th annual Golf Classic. The event is slated for Aug. 4, with a rain date of Aug. 5. The golf outing will begin with registration at 11 a.m. and lunch on the patio at 11:30 a.m. The shotgun start is at 1 p.m.
Awards will include the Robert C. Stanley Memorial Cup for the low gross foursome, as well as prizes for low net team, low gross and net individual, longest drive (male/female), and nearest to the pin on every par 3. Hole-in-one prizes include $15,000 in cash and a Land Rover from Land Rover of Monmouth. A cocktail buffet will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a gourmet dinner buffet and awards party.
A super raffle, which is open to the public, also will be held in conjunction with the golf classic.
The fee is $325 per person and includes golfer gifts, meals, refreshments, greens fees, locker room privileges, golf carts, awards and prizes. All proceeds will benefit the programs and services of the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey.
