The Monroe Township Recreation Department will hold a fishing derby for Monroe residents from 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 5 at Molders Fish Farm, John Wall Road, Monroe.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must bring fishing poles. Prizes will be awarded. Registration is required. The event is open to Monroe residents only. For more information and to register, call the community center at (732) 723-5000.
