Mary Schneider, Lifeline Program coordinator, in conjunction with the University Medical Center at Princeton, will present a "Lifeline: Lunch and Learn" program at 11 a.m. on Aug. 4. The event will include a discussion of the benefits of the program and a demonstration of the equipment used. A box lunch will be provided after the presentation. Space is limited. Registration deadline is July 28.
A meditation session is set for 10 a.m. on Aug. 5. Judy Kalman, C.S.W., will demonstrate various relaxation and breathing techniques for meditation. Registration deadline is Sept. 28.
Seniors are invited from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Aug. 5 to the Chelsea at Forsgate. The scheduled activity will be "Running the Value Bases," a discussion game about values with a baseball twist. Chelsea will provide transportation. Participants should arrive at the senior center by 1 p.m. Reservation deadline is July 29.
The Friends of the Senior Center Inc. will sponsor a flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 20. Vendor spaces will be provided; participants should bring their own table. Registration fee is $12. Call the Friends at (732) 521-2101 to reserve.
The newly organized Center Chorus, an all-male a cappella group, will meet from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesdays at the center. The barbershop-style singers are seeking individuals interested in singing and/or learning how to sing in four-part harmony.
Camera enthusiasts are invited to the next meeting of the Camera Clique set for 2 p.m. on Aug. 6. Professional photographer Abe Marder will address the group.
Dr. William Wollman will explore the history of the Hollywood musical on Aug. 7. Discussion will focus on stars including Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Judy Garland and others. A $1 registration fee is due by July 30.
