Touring production of
‘Antigone’ set at library
The Monroe Township Public Library, 4 Municipal Plaza, will present the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s next stage eNSEmble touring production of Antigone, based on the Greek tragedy by Sophocles, at 2 p.m. on July 26.
Free tickets for the one-hour adaptation of the classic play are available at the library circulation desk. The public is welcome to attend the performance.
The next stage eNSEmble, now in its 11th year, was created as part of the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Summer Professional Training Program in order to foster the work of early-career actors and directors. NSE upholds the Shakespearean tradition of a traveling company of actors bringing its repertoire into the community.

SWMHS class of 1968
will hold 35th reunion
Sayreville War Memorial High School (SWMHS) class of 1968 is seeking alumni for its 35th reunion scheduled for Nov. 28 from 7-11 p.m. at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4699, Jernee Mill Road, Sayreville.
The event will feature a hot buffet, cash bar and music by a DJ. Cost is $35 per person. Individuals are asked to R.S.V.P. by Sept. 15.
