Volunteers to assist with patient feeding are needed at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge and Perth Amboy divisions, as part of the hospital’s Golden Spoons program.
Volunteers provide comfort, caring and assistance to patients during mealtime. The program runs during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours, seven days a week.
A training session for new Golden Spoons volunteers will be held at 9 a.m. on July 29 in Raritan Room C at the hospital’s Perth Amboy division.
Raritan Bay Medical Center provides orientation and training to all qualified applicants who are interested in volunteering. A free uniform, free parking and meal allowance also are provided. Interested individuals should call (732) 324-5006 to register for the orientation.
