The 21st Summer International Film Festival at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center, will conclude on Aug. 5 with 1:30 and 8 p.m. screenings of the Mandarin drama Beijing Bicycle.

The 2002 film, which will be shown in its original language with English subtitles, is rated PG-13. Running time is 113 minutes.

Admission is free of charge. Reservations are not required.

The film festival is sponsored by the Friends of the East Brunswick Public Library.

KidsVill ‘Cinderella’

tryouts set for Aug. 4, 5

The Villagers Theatre will hold auditions at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 and 5 at the theater, 475 DeMott Lane, Somerset section of Franklin, for its upcoming KidsVill production of Cinderella.

Interested individuals should be prepared to dance. Singing is not required. Readings will be from the script. Show dates will be Sept. 13-21.

Crafters are sought for

St. Thomas HSA show

Crafters are sought for the St. Thomas the Apostle HSA Fall Craft Show and Bake Sale, set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 11 in the school auditorium, Route 18 south, Old Bridge.

Tables are available for rent at a cost of $15 or $30. Reservation deadline is Sept. 25.
