The Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce will hold its fifth annual "Clambake Luau," Aug. 21 from 6-9 p.m. at Ocean Place Resort & Spa, 1 Ocean Blvd., Long Branch. Sylvia Allen, president of Allen Con­sulting Inc., Holmdel, will be a featured guest on "The Woman’s Connection" cable program on Manhattan Neighborhood Network Channel 34. Allen will be the guest on the show, hosted by Barrie Switzen, which reaches approximately 1.1 million New York residences. Recently named Business Ambassador of the Year by the Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, Allen is a founding member of Women in Sports and Events, past presi­dent of the Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association, and has served on the board of the Monmouth County Arts Council.

Joseph Puzzo Jr., Middletown, will be profiled in the 2004 edition of Who’s Who in America, which will be available in November. The publication is a biographi­cal directory published by Marquis Who’s Who, a biographical reference publisher of the highest achiever and contributors na­tion- and worldwide. Puzzo is a language arts teacher of sixth to eighth graders at Thorne Middle School, Port Monmouth section of Middletown.
