MONTGOMERY The Montgomery Democratic Organization and Mayor Louise Wilson will host the Mayor’s Ball, an evening of dinner and dancing at the Cherry Valley Country Club, at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The event is the organization’s major fall fund-raiser. Proceeds will benefit the campaign of Cecilia Birge and Mark Petraske for Montgomery Township Committee. Ms. Birge currently serves on the township’s Finance and Budget Advisory Committee, while Mr. Petraske is a member of the Transportation Advisory Committee.
Barbara Devaney and Sarah Roberts are co-chairs of the event.
The requested donation is $100 per person. The organization is also seeking additional sponsors for the event.
