A lifetime fan offers his favorite players.

This week’s Top Ten looks at the New York Knicks, just in time for the new season to start in a couple of weeks.
So here are my alltime favorite Knickerbockers remember, these are favorites and do not represent who I think are the greatest in team history:
1. Willis Reed, "The Captain"
2. Walt "Clyde Frazier
3. Earl "The Pearl" Monroe
4. Dave DeBusschere, did all the hardwork.
5. Patrick Ewing, "The Big Fella," anchored the team’s renaissance but never nabbed a ring.
6. Charles Oakley, "Oak." Latter day DeBusschere.
7. Bill Bradley, "Dollar Bill." Best at moving without the ball.
8. John Starks. A gutty shooter.
9. Allan Houston. One of the sweetest strokes in team history.
10. Mark Jackson. An artist with the ball. New York born and bred.
Let me know what you think. Send me an e-mail.
