Congregation Neve Shalom, 205 Grove Ave., Metuchen, will hold its Scholar-in-Residence Weekend Dec. 12-14.
This year’s scholar is Danny Siegel, a well-known author, humorist, lecturer and poet who has spoken to more than 200 North American Jewish communities.
The weekend will begin with a shabbat Dec. 12 at 6:45 p.m. with services at 8 p.m. Reservations are required for the dinner.
On Saturday morning, Siegel will speak. Baby-sitting will be available. A family program is planned Sunday morning for sixth- to ninth-graders and their parents.
