Georgian Court presents
interactive theater event

Georgian Court College invites the public to experience the splendor of the Gilded Age through a nostalgic theatrical biography in a fabled mansion setting with elegant tea service reminiscent of the early 1900’s. "Mrs. Gould’s Second Annual Holiday Social" will highlight the saga of the Gould family history.

The Georgian Court College campus, 900 Lakewood Ave. in Lakewood, is located on the former George Jay Gould estate and is now named a National Historic Landmark. In the performance, Mrs. Gould and her lively domestic, Trudy, welcome a lost stranger into Georgian Court. The value of friendship and family are tested in this musical presentation.

Performances will begin Nov. 19 and take place through Dec. 30 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:30 a.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m. The producer’s performance will take place Dec. 28 at the 3 p.m. tea. No performances will be held Nov. 26, 27 and Dec. 24 and 25. Tickets are currently on sale for $40. The producer’s performance will cost $45. The admission price includes traditional tea, finger sandwiches and pastries in addition to the performance. Call (732) 364-2200, ext. 263, to reserve tickets.
