Edison Library to hold December children’s events

The children’s department of the Edison Public Library will hold the following December programs:

•Children’s Film Festivities – for children kindergarten through grade 6, held at North Edison Library, 777 Grove Ave., 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Dec. 6. and Edison Main Library, 340 Plainfield Ave., 10 a.m., Dec. 13;

•Sky High – for children ages 2 to 5, held at Edison Main Library, 340 Plainfield Ave., 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Dec. 8 and North Edison Library, 777 Grove Ave., 10 and 11:30 a.m., and 2:30, 6 and 7 p.m., Dec. 18.

Registration for the above programs, in person or by telephone, begins Dec. 1.

•Night Flight – for children kindergarten to grade 3, at the Edison Main Library, 340 Plainfield Avenue, 6:30 p.m., Dec. 10. Registration in person or by telephone begins Dec. 2.

•The Sky’s the Limit – for children kindergarten to grade 6, at the Edison Main Library, 340 Plainfield Avenue, 6:30 p.m., Dec. 17. Registration in person or by telephone begins Dec. 9.

•Fly Wright Contest – begins Dec. 1 and ends Dec. 30. Help the Wright Brothers find the library book they lost in a cloud while flying their airplane to the library. Come to the library, look at the clouds and guess which one is hiding the book.

A parent or guardian must accompany children for all the above programs.
