New ideas, new trends and new features soon will be reflected in the models at K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Historic Smithville, the result of a complete remodeling.
"We wanted a fresh look to give our homeowners a better idea of what they can do with their new homes," said Joe Riggs, region president of K. Hovnanian. "These models have been displayed since this community opened in 1997. We thought it was a good time to redecorate."
Sales at Four Seasons once again are at a brisk pace, now that the state resolved some regulatory issues with an area utility. The models will be finished for the community’s grand reopening.
Each home boasts a low-maintenance exterior; fully-sodded front, rear and side lawns, with sprinkle system and professionally designed landscaping. Inside, homes are nothing short of spectacular. All offer luxurious living on a single floor with optional basement and feature spacious floor plans; dramatic nine-foot ceilings; ceramic tile entry foyers and a wide choice of carpet and floor designs and colors.
Each home also includes attic storage with pull-down stairs, a separate laundry area, an elegant entry foyer, walk-in closet space in the master bedroom, lots of natural light from the 6-foot windows.
Gourmet kitchens include appliances, recessed lighting over the sink, built-in pantry closets in some models and breakfast nooks.
All the homes can be upgraded with an extensive choice of options, including a sunroom, screened porch, sun porch, extended living room and family room. Inside, each home can be personalized with a wide range of options, including a gas fireplace, upgraded cabinets, floors, lighting fixtures and much more.
With nine floor plans available, homebuyers have a variety of choices. Homes range in size from 1,480 to 2,312 square feet and offer two or three bedrooms and two baths. Eight of the home styles include two-car garages. All are maintenance free and energy efficient.
Of course, there’s more here than beautiful homes. The spectacular 18,000-foot clubhouse is the focal point of the community. It features state-of-the-art facilities to meet residents’ active lifestyles. The fully equipped fitness center includes treadmills, stair climbers and stationary bikes, all of which are perfect for a variety of traditional and computerized workouts. The clubhouse also features a card room, library, billiards room and ballroom with an adjacent kitchen. There’s an indoor swimming pool in which to exercise and relax, even on rainy days.
The amenities continue outside the clubhouse. The area includes championship tennis courts, outdoor swimming pool with a spacious sun deck, shuffleboard courts, bocce courts, bicycle paths, magnificent walking paths, winding streetscapes with sidewalks overlooking manicured grounds, picnic tables and a putting green.
