The West Windsor-Plainsboro Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the district’s educational programs, is looking for an executive director.
"We are looking for an executive director who can both organize and administer our volunteers in addition to recruiting new ones," said Denise Dwyer, education foundation president. Other responsibilities would include working on fund-raising, writing grants and community outreach, she said.
The foundation’s previous executive director, Rose Miller, stepped down recently after moving out of state.
"The foundation has found we sorely need someone not only to take over the tasks Rose performed, but some additional ones as well," Ms. Dwyer said.
Some of these additional tasks include implementing programs that have fallen by the wayside, like a mentoring program and annual career fair.
The executive director position would be part time, 12 hours per week, and the salary would be commensurate with experience.
