‘Holiday Safety Fair,’ party offered at center

Monmouth Medical Center, and the Long Branch Police Department will present a "Holiday Safety Fair" Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the hospital’s lobby, 300 Second Ave., Long Branch.

The free event is presented by The Center for Kids & Family. Speakers will be Cpl. Charles Condone, the city’s urban enterprise zone officer, and representatives of the Coastal Monmouth Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse.

The pediatric clinic at Monmouth Medical Center will host a party for area children also Dec. 12 from 5-7 p.m. at Monmouth Health Center, 270 Broadway, Long Branch. The medical center is currently collecting unwrapped toys for children newborn to age 16 for distribution. Donations may be dropped off at the health center at Broadway Monday-Friday during regular hours.
