Club Shalom offers trip
to Atlantic City Dec. 24
Club Shalom, Lakewood, is offering a pre-Christmas trip to the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City on Dec. 24. The bus will depart from the Lions Head Woods clubhouse in Lakewood at 10:15 a.m. and return at around 7:15 p.m. The cost for the trip is $16 per person, and includes a $15 coin return. Howell Township sets
kindergarten registration
Howell schools will be accepting kindergarten registration for children who will be age 5 on or before Oct. 1, 2004. All registrations will be held at Howell Middle School North, 501 Squankum Yellowbrook Road.
Registration for children who will be attending Adelphia, Aldrich, Griebling, Newbury and Taunton Schools will be accepted on Feb. 21. Registration for those slated to attend Ardena, Greenville, Land O’Pines, Ramtown and Southard Schools will take place on Feb. 28.

Jackson Township sets
kindergarten registration
Jackson parents are advised that forms, which need to be completed before actual registration, will be available in all elementary schools during regular school hours, beginning Jan. 5. To be eligible for registration, children must be age 5 on or before Oct. 1, 2004, and in accordance with Public Law – Chapter 14, N.J. (Immunization of Pupils in Schools), children must have all the required immunizations and record of physical examination.
Parents should make note that registration takes place early in the year. Registration will be accepted in all elementary schools during the week of March 1.
