Melissa Jean Tone, daughter of Joanne and Lloyd Thorne of South Amboy and Jodi and William Tone of Plainview, Texas, was married July 19 to Nicholas Hilarczyk, son of Dorothy and Richard Gilardi of the Colonia section of Woodbridge and Pam and Kenneth Hilarczyk of the Avenel section of Woodbridge.

The Rev. Jeffrey Willingham performed the ceremony at St. John Vianney Church, Colonia section of Woodbridge, where the bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Lindsay Tone of South Amboy, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michelle Hilarczyk of the Iselin section of Woodbridge, Dawn M. Hilarczyk of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge and Dawn Hilarczyk of Jackson, all sisters-in-law of the bridegroom; Maria Posca of New York City; and Megan Przybylski of South Amboy, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Moriah Fiorilli of Williamstown, cousin of the bridegroom.

Best man was Kenneth Hilarczyk Jr. of Iselin, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Andrew Hilarczyk of Laurence Harbor, Peter Hilarczyk of Jackson and Timothy Hilarczyk of the Parlin section of Sayreville, all brothers of the bridegroom; Robert Mikell of Colonia, cousin of the bridegroom; and Robert Bruder of Colonia. Ring bearer was Joseph Przybylski of South Amboy, cousin of the bride.

After a reception at the Pines Manor, Edison, the couple left for a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The bride is a graduate of Sayreville War Memorial High School and Katherin Gibbs School, Piscataway, where she earned a certificate as an executive assistant. She is a partner secretary at Cravath, Swaine and Moore, L.L.P., New York City.

Her husband is a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School, Metuchen. He is a second-class machinery technician with the U.S. Coast Guard, Staten Island, N.Y.

The couple resides in Parlin.
