Two River bank

During the 12th annual Spinnaker Awards ceremony, hosted by the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce (EMCC), Two River Community Bank was honored with the 2003 Corporate Good Neighbor award.

This award is presented to the business with 50 or more employees that motivates staff members to be personally involved as good Samaritans, helping people in need and making the eastern Monmouth area a better place.

According to the EMCC, Two River Community Bank provides financial support to more than 100 area nonprofit organizations and is a participating member in countless more. Specifically noted were the bank’s activities in food banks and toy drives.

According to Barry Davall, president and CEO of Two River Community Bank, "Every effort by our people to serve the community is because they sincerely want to help."

At Two River Community Bank, the spirit of helping others begins at the top.

Chairman Charles Parton is a trustee of Monmouth Council Boy Scouts of America and Monmouth University. Vice Chairman Jay Patock is a director of the American Red Cross and the YMCA’s Camp Zehnder, and is president of the Monmouth Housing Alliance. Davall serves on the boards of the Monmouth Conservation Foundation, Community YMCA, Friends of the Parks and CPC Behavioral Healthcare.

Previous award winners include the U.S. Army at Fort Monmouth, Comcast, Meridian Health Systems, Gloria Nilson Realtors and Merrill Lynch.

Two River Community Bank opened for business in February 2000 and currently operates five branches in Monmouth County, with plans to open four more branches in 2004. The main office is at 1250 Route 35 south, Middletown.
