Paul J. Finegan Jr., 70, of Hopewell Township, died Dec. 24 at the University Medical Center at Princeton after a long illness.
He was born and raised in Trenton and had resided in Hopewell Township since 1973.
A graduate of Villanova University, he was a member of the American Stock Exchange in New York City and served in the U.S. Army and as a captain in the Army Reserve.
A eucharistic minister at St. James Church in Pennington, he also volunteered with the Mercer County Democrats, the Hopewell Township Municipal Utilities Authority and the Jaycees.
Son of the late Dr. Paul J. Finegan and Pauline Bodar Finegan, he is survived by his wife, Patricia McKee Finegan; two daughters, a son-in-law, and a grandson, Corinne, Jens and Luke Machatzke of San Francisco, Calif., and Wendy A. Finegan of Manhattan; a brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Robert E. Finegan and Maria H. Finegan of La Selva Beach, Calif., and their children; and cousins Mary Elizabeth Hartz, Katherine and Jack Clark and Irene Finegan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. James Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington.
Burial will be private in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Hartmann Memorial Home, 2830 Nottingham Way, Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, masses would be appreciated.
