By John Tredrea
John Bach was appointed as assistant superintendent of schools for the remainder of the 2003-2004 school year by the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education Monday night.
The appointment became effective Tuesday.
Mr. Bach, 50, will continue as CHS principal in addition to serving as assistant superintendent until his replacement is hired, Superintendent Nick Lorenzetti said recently. In his new post, Mr. Bach will be paid $133,000 annually.
Hiring Mr. Bach was strongly recommended to the board by Superintendent Lorenzetti in mid-December.
