Percy C. Keith III, 75, died in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Mo., on Jan. 13.
Mr. Keith grew up in Peapack and lived in Skillman for 35 years, before retiring to Lee’s Summit, Mo.
An alumnus of The Hill School, Pottstown, Pa., and St. John’s College, Annapolis, Md., he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving as a Russian linguist in electronic intelligence.
His career as an engineer and sales executive spanned more than 30 years, beginning in the 1950s. He worked in foreign markets, broke ground in India and the former Soviet Union and built a sales network in Western Europe while with Transamerica De Laval. He retired as an executive with IMO-De Laval, Trenton.
Predeceased by his parents, Percy C. Keith Jr. and Martha M. Keith, and a daughter Mary Ellen Keith, who died in 1987, he is survived by his wife, Liese; a son, Percy C. Keith IV of Pennington; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. and Carrie B. Keith of Pennington; a former wife Patricia G. Keith of Pennington; a brother and sister-in-law, Christopher B. and Margaret Keith of Manhattan, N.Y.; a brother Dennis Keith of Dana Point, Calif.; a sister, Martha Keith Dane of Newbury Park, Calif.; a sister, Mac Keith Griswold of Sag Harbour, N.Y.; and a granddaughter, Katherine Ellen F. Keith.
Funeral service will he held today (Jan. 19) at 1 p.m. at the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, 71, E. Prospect Street, Hopewell.
Calling hours will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
