Police responded to a Fairfield Lane residence on a report of a stolen vehicle at 11:15 a.m. Jan. 1.
The victim said he had parked his purple 1986 Buick Regal in front of his girlfriend’s residence the night before.
The vehicle was believed stolen between 12:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. According to the victim, the estimated value of the car and tools was $8,500.
Police entered the vehicle into their NCIC computer system as stolen.

Police were dispatched to New Amwell Road on a fire call at 9:50 a.m. Jan. 3.
The owner of a black 1991 Goldrush enclosed trailer observed a large cloud of smoke coming out of the trailer while traveling east on New Amwell Road. Hillsborough Fire Co. 2 responded and put out the fire.
The fire caused an estimated $20,000 damage to the trailer and spare race car parts and accessories, police said.
