Poster contest to mark Preservation Week

The National Trust for Historic Preservation is currently accepting entries for its fourth annual "Preservation Week" poster contest, with submission deadline Feb. 2.

Winning entries and honorable mention winners will be exhibited at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., during National Preservation Week May 3-9.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners and 10 honorable mentions. Cash prizes of $1,500, $1,000 and $500 will be given to the top three winners. The first-place winner will also receive airfare to Washington to participate in the Preservation Week kickoff event.

Posters must illustrate the week’s theme of "New Frontiers in Preservation," and should demonstrate how the entrant’s community is working to preserve its historic places.
