Obituaries Eugene C. Ciallella

Mr. Ciallella, 63, of North Brunswick died Jan. 21 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Newark, he resided in Metuchen prior to moving to North Brunswick 26 years ago. He was a retired truck driver at McGaw Inc., Edison. Prior to that, he was employed at Hmielski Trucking, South Plainfield. Following retirement, he became a punch tin artist. He is survived by his wife, Ann Habarta Ciallella of North Brunswick; three daughters, Deborah Slover of Pennington, Diana Ryan of South Plainfield, and Marie Ciallella of North Brunswick; two sons, Anthony Ciallella of Sayreville, and Daniel Ciallella of North Brunswick; and seven grandchildren. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.

Louise S. Stumpf

Mrs. Stumpf, 86, of Metuchen died Jan. 16 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Perth Amboy, she resided in Metuchen most of her life. Mrs. Stumpf was a homemaker and belonged to the VFW Women’s Auxiliary Post, Metuchen. She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 2002. Mrs. Stumpf is survived by her niece, Joanne Wright and her husband, Wayne, of Metuchen and several other nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Flynn & Son/Koyen Funeral Home, Metuchen, followed by a private cremation. Memorial contributions can be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Perth Amboy.

Anna Labik

Mrs. Labik, 92, of Iselin died on Jan. 23 at the JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Slovakia, she immigrated to the U.S. in 1929. She lived in New York and then in Jersey City for 42 years before moving to Iselin six years ago. Mrs. Labik was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecelia Church, Iselin. She was predeceased by her husband, George S. Labik, in 2002 and three sisters, Rose, Mary Timko, Susan McDuffy. Mrs. Labik is survived by a son, George Labik of Princeton; a daughter, Margaret and her husband, Edward Pollock, of Iselin; four grandchildren and seven great -grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the Thomas J. Costello Funeral Home, Iselin. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Cecelia Church, Iselin, followed by inter­ment at the St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.

Justine "Tina" Martelli Miller

Mrs. Miller, 74, of South Amboy died Feb. 2 at home. Born in Perth Amboy, she resided in South Amboy the past 36 years. She was a homemaker, and a retired employee of Charles Komar and Sons, South Amboy. She was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy. She was predeceased by her husband, James A. "Red" Miller, in 1994. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James S. and Carmel Miller of Edison; two daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and John Scully of Inverness, Fla., and Margaret and John Nowak of South Amboy; two sisters, An­toinette Kozmata and Anna Ruszczyk, both of Whiting; her brother, Matthew Martelli of the Fords section of Woodbridge; six grandchil­dren; and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be Feb. 4 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Gundrum Service-Home For Funerals, South Amboy. A fu­neral service will be Feb. 5 at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy. Interment will be at Cloverleaf Memo­rial Park, Woodbridge.
