‘Hopewell Harry’

A lesson on shadows and Groundhog’s Day

A few of Judy Faherty’s afternoon kindergarten students get a close look at "Hopewell Harry," a groundhog preserved by taxidermy, during a Groundhog’s Day program at Hopewell Elementary School Monday. Shown are (from left): Kate Porter, Gemma Beals-Reid and Jaime Owens. Ms. Faherty uses Harry yearly as part of her shadows and Groundhog’s Day lesson. Harry, by the way, did make a shadow.
