To the editor:
Please give the parents in America the choice to watch a family program (like a Super Bowl halftime show) without having to cringe in utter disbelief. The self-serving pop stars reel in our children with a good beat, and then beat them over the head with profanity, blatant sexual emulations and nudity.
I can teach my children values and screen the channels they watch, but for goodness sakes, keep it off the family programs. Enough is enough already. There is nothing left to shock us with Justin, Janet, Britney. I don’t care if you respect yourselves or sell out, but leave my children alone, please.
