Center Players to present
‘The Boys Next Door’
Center Players, Freehold, will present as the first of its 2004 Signature Series shows "The Boys Next Door," written by Tom Griffin and directed by R.J. Lamb.
The funny, yet touching drama focuses on the lives of four mentally handicapped men who live in a communal residence under the watchful eye of a sincere but emotionally burned-out social worker. The story draws a parallel between the perceived simplicity of these men’s lives and the complexity of the life of their social worker.
"The Boys Next Door" will be presented every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Feb. 27 through March 28 at Center Playhouse, 35 South St., Freehold. Tickets are $22, with discounts for seniors, students, and groups of 10 or more. The ticket price includes coffee and dessert at intermission. Dinner packages are available at local restaurants.
For more information or to purchase tickets, call (732) 462-9093, option 1, or visit the Internet Web site www.Center
