New Hope

   Feb. 14, Charles Christian Viskovich, 23, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. for suspicion of drunken driving after an officer stopped him for speeding.
   After failing a series of field sobriety tests, he was taken to Doylestown Hospital where he submitted to a blood test, police said.
   Charges are pending the results of the test.
   Feb. 15, Edward Clifford Durell III, 55, of Creamery Road, Solebury, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. after police received a report of an intoxicated driver on Route 179.
   Mr. Durell was taken to Doylestown Hospital where he submitted to a blood test, police said.
   Charges are pending the results of the test.
   Feb. 18, Marcello Mijea, 21, of West Mechanic Street was charged with assault and other offenses at 5:30 a.m. after police responded to a disturbance at his residence.
   He was taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $7,500 bail. His alleged victim was taken to Doylestown Hospital for treatment of injuries.
   Feb. 18, a New Hope woman reported that Jan. 31, her daughter’s purse was stolen from a West Bridge Street location.
   The purse is described as a suede handbag and contained a silver Tiffany pendant, valued at $150, police said.
   Feb. 21, a 33-year-old Scottsdale, Ariz., man and a 48-year-old Washington Crossing, Pa., man told police they had been assaulted shortly after 1:30 a.m. at an East Ferry Street restaurant.
   Police said they have suspects.
   Feb. 22, someone broke a window in a Village II home.
   It was reported at about 7:30 a.m.
   Police said they have suspects.
Solebury

   Feb. 17, police went to the township park off Hagan Drive and found a large group of teenagers in the parking lot.
   The teens told police they were there to watch a fight and "talk trash" from an earlier incident.
   Police are charging 24 teens with trespassing and being in the park after hours. The teens, both male and female, range in age from 15 to 17.
   Feb. 17, the traffic light at Route 202 and Sugan Road failed when cold weather caused an underground wire to break, shorting out the controls.
   An officer had to direct traffic for more than three hours until repairs could be made.
   Feb. 19, there was a two-vehicle accident on Sugan Road at Creekside Drive.
   A vehicle passing two vehicles going north on Sugan Road hit a vehicle pulling out of Creekside Drive to go south on Sugan Road.
   Vehicles were driven by Nadia Farco, 19, of Creamery Road, Solebury, and Patricia A. Tangradi, 32 of Breckenridge Court, New Hope.
   Ms. Faraco was taken to Doylestown Hospital by the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad for injuries received in the accident.
   Feb. 21 at 10 p.m., drugs were taken from the Eckerd Drugstore on Route 202.
   The theft was reported near closing time. Police are looking for a white female, about 40 years old with brown hair.
   No further description is available.
   Feb. 22 at 10:20 a.m., food was taken from the Giant Food Store on Route 202.
   Police said the store reported two white men were seen leaving the store with a red basket full of food without paying. They got into a silver Volkswagen Rabbit, heading south on Route 202 with a third white man waiting in the vehicle, police said.
West Amwell

   Feb. 21 at about 3:30 p.m. there was a theft of $20 worth of gasoline from Quick Chek on Route 31, police said.
   Gregory Feldenzer, 34, of Titusville was charged with the theft as well as operating with a suspended driver’s license and a suspended registration.
   He was released without bail.
   Michael Arcamone, 36, of East Amwell was charged with drunken driving Feb. 21 at about midnight.
   Police said he was stopped for speeding on Route 179, which he also was charged with.
   He was released to a family member.
   Paul Lynch, 51, of Trenton was charged with careless driving after a one-vehicle accident Feb. 17 at about 9:30 p.m.
   Police said he was driving north on Route 29, drifted to the right, hit a retaining wall, then a downed tree. The tree went through his windshield, police said, and hit him in the upper left torso, police said.
   He was taken to Mercer Medical Center by the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad for a minor shoulder injury and a diabetic problem.
