Thursday, Feb. 26 and Friday, Feb. 27 A clothing drive will be held on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at Holy Assumption School in Roebling. Bag items and drop off behind the school at McGrath Hall.
Blood drive
Thursday, Feb. 26 The Community Blood Council of New Jersey blood drive at Mt. Moriah Lodge, The Masonic Temple, 121 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, is slated from 5 to 9 p.m. and is open to the public.
Customer appreciation
Friday, Feb. 27 The Jobstown Post Office will hold Customer Appreciation Day starting at 8 a.m. Enjoy light refreshments and enter to win dinner for two at Carini Pizza and Grill Restaurant.
Kidsafe ID cards

Roast beef supper
Saturday, Feb. 28 Hedding Methodist Church in Bordentown will hold the annual roast beef supper with seatings at 4:30 and 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids and must be reserved at 324-0729. Profits benefit the church’s mission program.
Nicotine Anonymous
Tuesday, March 2 A Nicotine Anonymous meeting will be held weekly from 6 to 7 p.m. at Divine Word Missionary Gym, second floor, 101 Park St., Bordentown. Autism benefit
Saturday, March 6 Connor P. Casey Foundation for Autism second annual "Blarney Benefit for Autism" will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Bordentown Elks Lodge. Cost is $30 per person and includes Irish buffet, open bar, DJ, Irish band, auction, 50/50, and surprises.

Casino trip

Monday, March 8 The Holy Cross Preschool of Bordentown, 280 Crosswicks Road, annual open house is slated from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Bring your family and friends to visit the Christ-based preschool, meet mission-minded teachers and see the curriculum. Dinner fund-raiser
Tuesday, March 9 Join this year’s graduating class at a fund-raiser sponsored by Fezziwigs at the Bordentown Regional High School cafeteria from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Price is $12 for an all-you-can-eat meal. Chicken Marsala, vodka rigatoni, vegetable medley, Caesar salad and apple crisp will be served. All proceeds benefit the senior prom.
Fish fry
Friday, March 12 Holy Assumption Parish of Roebling will hold a fish fry on Friday nights during Lent from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. at McGrath Hall.
Menu is half-pound flounder, or six fantail shrimp, two deviled crab cakes for $8 or the combo platter for $9. Entrees include fries and coleslaw.
St. Paddy’s Run
Saturday, March 13 The Bordentown Education Foundation and the Bordentown Rotary Club will hold a St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run and 2-mile Fun Walk to benefit the education of Bordentown public school children at the Clara Barton School. Fun walk starts at 8:45 a.m. and the 5K run begins at 9:30 a.m.

Oyster supper
Saturday, March 13 Bordentown Presbyterian Church’s annual oyster supper is slated from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Farnsworth Avenue church. Tickets for the all-you-can-eat meal of fried oysters, chicken salad, mashed potatoes, side dishes and homemade dessert are available at 298-1250. This event usually sells out, so order tickets early.
Homeowners’ meeting
Wednesday, March 17 The Village Grande at Crosswicks Creek Homeowners’ Association has changed the date of the March meeting. The meeting will now be held at 7 p.m. at the community clubhouse on Honeyflower Drive. All homeowners are invited to attend.
Basket bingo
Friday, March 19 Join us for a fun-filled evening and maybe come home with something new for spring decorating. Interfaith week
Sunday, March 21 through Sunday, March 28 The congregations of Bordentown and the surrounding area will celebrate Interfaith week.
Interfaith week will end with a choir festival on March 28 at 7 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Bordentown. Choirs from the various congregations will perform one or two anthems and a massed choir will perform three or four selections. Refreshments will follow the Choirfest.
Chinese auction
Friday, March 26 The Florence Township Chapter of Deborah will sponsor its annual Chinese Auction at the VFW Post 8838 on 10th Avenue, Roebling.

Bring-A-Friend Sunday
Sunday, March 28 The First Baptist Church of Bordentown is having a Bring-A-Friend Sunday. Persons in the community are invited to Sunday School at 9 a.m. The 10:15 a.m. worship service will include a hymnsing and music by the choir and a first-person sermon on a Biblical character presented by The Rev. Jay Rambo.

Couples’ conference
Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17 Bring your laughter and desire to grow closer to the one you love to the Couples’ Conference being hosted by the Fountain of Life Center, 2035 Columbus Road, Florence Township. This marriage seminar will take place on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

School registration
Registration for eligible kindergarten students living in the Bordentown Regional School District will be held during the week of March 29 at Peter Muschal School and the week of March 8 at Clara Barton School. Children registering at Peter Muschal School must reside in Bordentown Township (excluding Holloway Meadows) or Fieldsboro. Children registering at Clara Barton School must reside in Bordentown City or Holloway Meadows. Kids are eligible for kindergarten registration in September if they turn 5 before Friday, Oct. 1.

Improve vision for the future by providing eye exams and glasses for needy people, protect pets with the free vaccination programs, and participate in community activities such as Bordentown’s annual street fair.
Meetings are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Town and Country Diner, Route 130, Bordentown at 6:30 p.m., and the public is invited to join.
