Air Force Airman Garett N. Zorn recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. During the six weeks of training, Zorn studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. He also earned credits toward an associate’s degree through the Community College of the Air Force. A 2003 graduate of Shore Regional High School, West Long Branch, Zorn is the son of Donna Jackson of Long Branch.

Army Pvt. Tod D. Grimm recently graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, Grimm studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, the military justice system, basic first aid, field training exercises, and other areas of training. A 1988 graduate of Long Brach High School, he is the son of Sherry Maccanico, Eatontown, and Tod Grimm of the Wanamassa section of Ocean Township.
