The Center for Women at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division, will sponsor an educational program titled "Emergency 911: How To Prevent the Call" at 7 p.m. on March 17 at the center, in the hospital’s Old Bridge Medical Arts Building, off Ferry Road, between routes 9 and 18.
Guest speaker will be Dane Eric Clarke, M.D., director of emergency services at the medical center. A spokesman for the American Heart Association, Clarke is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the North Jersey Medical Society.
Refreshments will be served. The program is free of charge, but space is limited. Well-lighted, free parking will be available.

Rosary society to offer
bus trip to winery, A.C.
St. Mary’s Rosary Society, South River, will sponsor a March 30 bus trip to Renault Winery, Egg Harbor, with a six-hour stay at the Taj Mahal Casino, Atlantic City. The winery visit will feature a full Irish lunch and a wine tasting.
The bus will depart at 9:30 a.m. from St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church parking lot, Jackson Street.
Cost is $43 per person; a casino package is pending.
