Princeton’s Taste of the Nation will be held Monday, April 19 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Doral Forrestal Hotel & Spa in Plainsboro. Tickets are $75 if purchased before the event and $85 at the door, if available. Tickets can be booked on the Princeton event’s Web site, www.princetontaste.org, or call (609) 924-3663.
More than 25 leading chefs from central New Jersey’s leading restaurants are expected to participate in the event.
Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation is committed to both immediate and long-term solutions to hunger and poverty.
The 2003 event raised over $50,000 for area anti-hunger groups. Beneficiaries include the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen; Isles, Inc. Community Gardens Program; HomeFront, and the Mercer Street Friends Food Cooperative.
