Kimball offers free blood
pressure checks in town
The Center for Healthy Living at Kimball Medical Center, 198 Prospect Street, Lakewood, offers free blood pressure readings from 9-11 a.m., every Tuesday. No appointment is necessary.
"The blood pressure program is just one of the center’s many offerings that promote better health, quality of life and patient responsibility in health maintenance," said Joanne Bergin, director of development for Kimball Medical Center.
Each participant receives a medical information card which charts blood pressure each visit. It also contains room for people to fill out important medical history information. The card is wallet-sized for easy access, should a medical situation arise. The whole blood pressure program is designed for quick and easy in-and-out accessibility, including ample parking.
