Self-help groups offer
support to MS patients

The National MS Society sponsors self-help support groups in the local area for people with multiple sclerosis, their families and caregivers. The groups provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss concerns and experiences in an informal setting.

A group meets in Marlboro on Saturdays (the schedule varies) from 10 a.m. to noon at the Marlboro Library, Wyncrest Drive. For details, call Lorraine, (732) 671-9384, or Dianne, (732) 536-3033.

In Freehold Township, the group meets from 1-3 p.m. the third Monday of the month at CentraState Health Awareness Center, Gibson Place. For more information, call Michelle at (732) 294-2505.
