Sido L. Ridolfi
   Former acting governor and longtime state Sen. Sido L. Ridolfi, 90, died Sunday.
   A lifelong resident of Trenton and Bay Head, he started his political career in 1947 when he was elected sheriff of Mercer County and one of the youngest in the state to hold this post. He was elected Trenton City commissioner in 1951 and then served as state senator from 1952 to 1970 during which time he served as both majority and minority leader, president of the Senate and acting governor.
   A graduate of Princeton University, Class of 1936, and a member of the varsity basketball team, Sen. Ridolfi graduated from the Harvard Law School in 1939 and served in the Armed Forces during World War II.
   In addition to his role in New Jersey politics, he had a legal career and was chosen to be president of the New Jersey Bar Association very early in his career.
   Sen. Ridolfi was active in many civic organizations and was a member of the Trenton Club and the Trenton Country Club for many years.
   Predeceased by his wife Bernice in 2000, he is survived by three children, Robert, an attorney in Pennington; Jane, a private chef in New York; and Susan, employed by Brown Brothers Harriman; and three grandchildren, Michael, Timothy and Katherine, who live in California.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrence.
   Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton.
   Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. at Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., Pennington.

Marie A. Conroy Lloyd
   Marie A. Conroy Lloyd, 73, of Pennington, died Friday at her daughter’s home.
   Born in Trenton, Ms. Lloyd had resided in Pennington since 1959.
   She was employed at various companies in the Pennington area and later was a homemaker.
   Daughter of the late Thomas and Sophie Kusek Conroy and wife of the late John H. Lloyd Sr., she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law John H. and Christine Lloyd Jr. of Hamilton; a daughter and son-in-law Wendy and Christopher Gretton of Hamilton; three grandchildren John H. Lloyd III of Pennington and Christopher and Brianna Gretton of Hamilton; three brothers and a sister-in-law John and Patricia, Edward and Thomas Conroy all of Lawrenceville; a sister and brother-in-law Doris and Robert Jolly of Whiting; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law James and Sherry Lloyd of Hamilton and several nieces and nephews.
   Private funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
   There will be no calling hours.
