Army National Guard Pfc. Samantha M. Anderson recently graduated from the multichannel transmission systems operator-maintainer course at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga. The 12-week course trained enlisted soldiers in the installation, operation and unit maintenance of line-of-sight multichannel radio relay and multiplexing equipment used in telephone and telegraph communications systems. Students also receive instruction in electronic countermeasures, signal operating instructions, radio and multiplexing equipment, antennas and power generation equipment. A 2003 graduate of Shore Regional High School, West Long Branch, Anderson is the daughter of retired Army 1st Sgt. Michael C. Anderson Oceanport.
