OBITUARIES

   Diane Arrington
   Dianne Arrington, 50, of South Brunswick, died Sunday, May 23, at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison.
   Born in Columbia, Miss., she was a lifelong resident of New Brunswick and recently moved to South Brunswick. She was a graduate of New Brunswick High School and attended Rutgers University. A 1997 retiree from AT&T, she worked 14 years at locations in Basking Ridge, Piscataway and Somerset as a systems analyst.
   Her parents, Jessie and Lillie B. Arrington, and a sister, Bertha Milton, are deceased. She is survived by four children, Keishah, Jomas, Naji and Manisha Arrington; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild; three siblings, Larry and Lorraine Arrington and Bobbie Thompson; and countless family and friends.
   Funeral services were held Saturday, May 29, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 145 Warren St., Somerset. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, North Brunswick. Arrangements were made by Anderson Funeral Service, 201 Sandford St., New Brunswick.
Madelon Cheryl Rubin
   Madelon Cheryl Rubin, 52, of Marlboro, died Sunday, May 30, at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold.
   Born in the Bronx, N.Y., Ms. Rubin lived in Kendall Park for six years, in Iselin for another six years, and in Marlboro for the past 21 years. Ms. Rubin fought Leukemia for the past 11 years. She was a graduate of Middlesex County College where she received her associate’s degree, and a graduate of Montclair State University where she received her bachelor’s degree. She was a supervisor for Middlesex County Social Services for over 26 years, retiring in 2002, and was best known for her organizational skills. She was an avid gardener and swimmer. She was a member of Temple Shalom in Aberdeen.
   She is survived by her beloved husband, Philip Rubin; her daughter, Jessica Rice of Marlboro; two brothers, Robert Maged of New Providence and Steven Maged of Old Bridge; her sister, Laura Richman of Manalapan; her mother, Sylvia Spitz of Marlboro; her father, Morton Maged of Toms River; four nephews and two nieces.
   Services were held Wednesday, June 2, at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave., Manalapan. Burial followed at Floral Park Cemetery, Deans. Memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia Society.
