The Middlesex County College Democracy House, in cooperation with the Woodbridge Vo-Tech Community Scholars Corps, will be holding a Community Fair June 12 at the Vo-Tech High School, 1 Convery Blvd. in Woodbridge.
The program will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is invited.
"The Vo-Tech Scholars Corps want to help people in the Woodbridge and Perth Amboy area gain information about what services are available to them," said Pat Donohue, director of the College’s Democracy House. "This event will allow people to meet with area nonprofit and governmental agencies to discover services offered and to see how they can take advantage of them. We’re expecting 20-30 agencies in areas such as education, health, employment, voter registration and municipal services. We’ll also have games for kids, and a limited amount of refreshments for participants. It should be an enjoyable and educational day."
Preregistration is not required. For more information, call (732) 548-6000, ext. 3262.
