Elizabeth and Jason Hinkis Elizabeth Mara Kafka, daughter of Leon and Leslie Kafka of New York City, was married May 16 to Jason Todd Hinkis, son of Carol Hinkis and the late Allan Hinkis of Aberdeen.
The ceremony was performed by Rabbi Ronald B. Sobel at Liberty House Restaurant, Liberty State Park, Jersey City, where the bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Adrienne Saunders. The bridesmaid was Jennifer Hinkis of Laurence Harbor, sister of the groom.
Best man was Jonathan Hinkis, brother of the groom. The usher was Craig Siegel of Laurence Harbor, brother-in-law of the bride and groom.
Following a reception at Liberty House Restaurant, the couple left on a wedding trip to Costa Rica.
The bride is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science, Bronx, N.Y. She received her bachelor of arts degree in political science at Trinity College, Hartford, Conn. She is a business development manager at Datamonitor plc, New York City.
The groom is a graduate of Matawan Regional High School. He received his bachelor of science degree in law and society at Trenton State University, and his master’s of business administration degree at Binghamton (N.Y.) University. He is a marketing manager at Toys "R" Us Corporate Headquarters, Wayne.
The couple resides in Montclair.
