MIKES of Manville and the Public Works Association of New Jersey, Region V, will host the seventh annual Night Out at the Ballpark as a fund-raiser for Ryan McKee. Working with The Make-a-Wish Foundation of New Jersey and the Somerset Patriots, friends, neighbors, and businesses can help Ryan and his family in one of three ways. The Park at Duke Farms located on Route 206 and Dukes Parkway, will sponsor guided tours via air-conditioned bus at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, June through November, rain or shine. The 36th annual Sacred Heart Church summer festival will be from 6-10 p.m. through July 30 and from 5-10 p.m., July 31. The Third Annual Timothy J. Finnerty Golf Classic will be held on Sept. 2 at the Royce Brook Golf Club, Hillsborough. The golf tournament is named for Timothy J. Finnerty, a bond trader for Cantor Fitzgerald who was a victim of the Sept. 11 World Trade Center terrorist attacks. The proceeds will benefit a University of Scranton scholarship fund named in his honor, summer sports camp scholarships, and community recreational facility improvements.
