Military academy sets Aug. 9 golf tournament
The board of trustees of New York Military Academy, Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., will host its second annual Trustee Golf Tournament on Aug. 9 at Glenwood Country Club, Old Bridge. Registration and lunch will begin at 11 a.m. Shotgun start is set for noon. An awards dinner will be held at 5 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit the school’s endowment fund.
Golfers will compete for prizes in a scramble format. There will be prizes for hole in one, closest to the pin, longest drive, and first-, second- and third-place finishers. Raffle prizes will be handed out during the awards dinner.
Cost is $200 per golfer.
